04/05/07: The final paper

03/20/07: I mentioned
earlier that there will be a make-up paper for those of you who didn’t do well
on the first paper or missed many unannounced tests. They will be due on the
last day of classes and you can get 15 % max. Two pages max. There will be only
one topic, which I will announce a week before.

papers is a tricky business as this peculiar genre has its own rules. You may want
