2/15/08:
2/15/08: OH next week:
Tue the 26th, 12pm-2pm, Buchanan E367.
2/13/08: As you know
the seminar on the 7th of March is moved a day ahead because of the
schedule of our guest speaker, Berys Gaut. So we’ll meet on Thursday the 6th of March at 3.30pm in Buchanan B220.
2/8/08: Here is the Currie paper for next week. Or it’s in the book.
Its second half is a bit difficult and some metaphysical concepts are not
really explained. You may find it useful to read Penelope Mackie’s SEP entry on
transworld identity.
2/4/08: Breaking news:
Both books are now in the bookstore.
1/31/08: In case the
Nichols book is still not available at the Bookstore, you can download the Weinberg-Meskin paper from here.
1/24/08: In case the
Nichols book is still not available at the Bookstore, you can download the Gendler paper on imaginative resistance.
1/19/08: A couple of
announcements:
1.
The
Nichols book should be in early next week.
2.
We
moved the seminar to 12.30pm (and we’ll have no break)
3.
The
seminar in the first week of March is moved from March 7 to March 6 to
accommodate Berys Gaut, who will put in a guest appearance. We’ll start at
3.30pm (location TBA).
4.
The
times and location of the Art and Spectatorship Workshop that replaces our
seminar on the 14th of March will take place from 11am till 5pm in
the Buchanan Penthouse
1/18/08: In case the
books are still not in, here is a link to Goldman’s
paper, which we’ll discuss next week.
1/11/08: Here is the
link for Walton’s paper that is assigned for
next week.
12/17/07: I uploaded a
revised syllabus, with a preliminary schedule.
10/08/07: The (more or
less) final syllabus is above.
