3/21/10: Readings for next week: Ch. 8 and 9 of the Greenberg book as well as his 1968 paper.

3/21/10: Here are the paper topics for the final research paper.

3/15/10: Readings for next week: Ch. 5, 6 and 7 of the Greenberg book.

3/8/10: Readings for next week: Ch. 1, 2 and 4 of the Greenberg book.

3/3/10: The Musil text we’ll discuss next week is not an easy read. Focus on section 5-9, which is what we’ll mainly talk about.

2/2/10: Reminder: Midterm is on 3/1/2010. The reading for the class on 3/8/2010 is this paper.

1/31/10: In preparation for the midterm, you may find it useful to read my handout on How to write a philosophy paper

1/31/10: The class on 2/8/2010 is cancelled.

1/18/10: The assigned reading for next time (Febr. 1) is not chapter 3 and chapter 5 (as indicated on the syllabus) but chapter 5 and chapter 6.

1/12/10: If you want some further readings on next week’s topic (besides the assigned chapter), you may find it useful to take a look at this paper.

1/11/10: Office hours next week: Monday 1.30-2.30.
