Announcements

12/01/09: Reminder: The final research paper is due on Thursday in class. Important: Late papers get one grade knocked off every 24 hours.

11/26/09: If you are writing on the Lakatos/rational reconstruction topic, you may find it useful to look at this paper by Lakatos.

11/26/09: I will have extended Office hours next week: 10-11am and 1.45-2.45pm, at Ike’s Cafe.

11/19/09: The paper topics for the final research paper are posted here.

11/12/09: My Office hours next week will be held in Ike’s Cafe.

11/12/09: Readings for next week: please also read the last section of the assigned chapter (in spite of the fact that it is marked in the book as ‘optional’.

11/5/09: My Office hours next week will be held in Ike’s Cafe.

10/29/09: Readings for next week: you only have to read the ‘Neo-Darwinism’ and the ‘Evolutionary Synthesis’ sections of Chapter 12 and the ‘Natural selection’ and the ‘Unresolved issues in natural selection’ sections of Chapter 13.

10/20/09: The clarification I promised in class today: We will provide the midterm booklet for Thursday. Good luck!!

10/15/09: No new reading assignment for next week as we’ll be all focused on the midterm.

10/15/09: I have extended Office hours next week: Tue 10-11am and Tue 2-3 pm, in Ike’s Cafe.

10/1/09: It will be announced on Tuesday (by Alirio, the TA) when and where the office hours will take place next week.

9/24/09: My Office hours next week will also be held in Ike’s Cafe. But I’m looking for something better.

9/24/09: You can skip section 7.3 and section 7.7 from the readings for next week.
